The conservative crack up - Howard Fineman

The conservative crack up - Howard Fineman - MSNBC.com: "The “movement” – that began 50 years ago with the founding of Bill Buckley’s National Review; that had its coming of age in the Reagan Years; that reached its zenith with Bush’s victory in 2000 — is falling apart at the seams."

I almost posted this one yesterday, but did not want to just go along with my typical habit of picking MSM articles to throw out there. But with Lazlo plucking it up, there might be hope for me yet.

My reason for wanting it on here is the old convergence argument I brought up half a year ago, namely that when enough corruption and incompetency happens in a bunch of different places, the ability to spin becomes impossibly hard. I think we are at that stage with the republicans as house and senate indictments loom, SC noms falter and God exits through the back door of the white house, waving his hand like Mr. Burroughs during the producer credits at the end of Cheers. Hang in there, liberals, in the words of Tom Cruise, It's all happening.

Woah shockandawe is back! Yeah we need to meet again and plot strategy. I don't know about the hinterland though.
